McMahons Jersey Shore Powerwash LLC ("McMahons," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website and the powerwashing service business based at 22 National Avenue, Brick, NJ 08724. We take privacy seriously because we run a small local business — if we wouldn't be comfortable telling a customer at their door what we do with their information, it doesn't belong in this policy.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here doesn't make sense, call us at (732) 681-1111 and a real person will walk you through it.

What we collect

We collect two kinds of information:

Information you give us directly.

When you submit a quote request through the contact form, you share your name, phone number, email address, property address, the service you're interested in, and any details about the job. When you call or email us, we record what you tell us in the same way any small business does — written down in a notebook or saved in our inbox. We don't sell, rent, or share this information with any third party other than the email provider we use to deliver it (see below).

Information collected automatically.

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-B43CSCZ6BR) and Google Tag Manager (container GTM-NHR36C3) to understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages get read, how long, what device, which town in New Jersey. This data is aggregated and anonymized; we cannot see your name or address from it. Google may set first-party cookies to support this measurement.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your quote request with a price and an arrival window — the only reason most people fill out the form.
• To follow up on a job we performed (reminder when it's time for another wash, COI updates for commercial accounts).
• To improve the site: see which blog posts answer the questions homeowners actually have, find pages that load slowly, fix typos.
• To comply with applicable law — for example, retaining invoices for tax purposes.

We do not use your contact information for marketing emails, newsletters, or upsells unless you specifically ask us to. We are a quote-and-deliver business, not a marketing business.

Third parties we share with

The short list:

• Resend — the email delivery service that carries quote requests from this site to our inbox. Resend processes the form data only long enough to deliver the email and is governed by their own privacy policy.
• Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — usage analytics, as described above. Google's privacy practices are documented at policies.google.com.
• Google Business Profile — when you leave a public review on our Google listing, that review is governed by Google's terms, not ours.
• Vercel — our hosting provider. Vercel handles standard web-server logs (IP address, request URL, user agent) for fraud prevention and uptime; we do not access those logs as part of normal operations.

We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not run targeted advertising. We do not share your phone number, email, or property address with any business partner or affiliate.

Cookies

Cookies are tiny files a browser stores so a website can remember you between visits. We use a small number of them — Google Analytics for usage measurement, Google Tag Manager to load those tags, and a session cookie that the underlying framework uses to render the page. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers beyond what is described here. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work fine.

How long we keep your data

Quote requests are kept in our inbox indefinitely for service history (so when you call us next year, we remember last year's wash). If you'd like us to delete your record, email us at info@jerseyshorepowerwash.com with the subject "Delete my data" and we will remove your record from our active systems within thirty (30) days. Google Analytics retains aggregated data per Google's defaults (currently 14 months).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information at the bottom of this page. We will respond inside thirty (30) days. We do not charge a fee for these requests.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the practices on it change. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted in a banner on the homepage for at least thirty (30) days.
